What to Expect:
Parents and Caregivers will learn the up-to-date, evidence-based techniques for CPR/AED and Choke Saving for newborns and infants, as well as children and adults.
how to use an AED
the newest choke saving updated version of what we formerly called the Heimlich maneuver
understanding breath
compression for different sizes and ages
Students will get to practice on adult, child, and baby manikins with support from our instructors.
Students can take turns on the newest feedback manikins!
Who is this for?
Classes are for parents and primary care givers, but may be helpful for family and friends who will be regularly caring for children.
Cost:
$70 per person (couples, please buy two tickets if you both plan to attend)

About Your Instructor:
Bonnie Rovics is an American Heart Association Certified CPR and BLS (basic life savings) Trainer who specializes in infant/pediatric parent and caregiver training. She's also a ProDoula Certified Birth Doula, a Spinning Babies® Parent Educator, a woman's empowerment coach, a Mongan Method HypnoBirthing® Educator, a Hypnosis Practitioner, and a Breech Release® practitioner and has made her living for over 25 years as a licensed massage and shiatsu therapist specializing in women's health and prenatal massage.
